What to say??

Okay, time is seriously passing by way to quickly! It's soon June! Can you believe it? I can't...

Anyways, last weekend HOST (the studentorganization I'm a part of) traveled to a little, cosy town in the middle of Holland called Spakenburg. It was a LOVELY weekend! :D
So I didn't celebrate 17th of May (The Norwegian Constitution Day) this year, that was a bit weird, but when I got home in the evening and had a look out my window this is what I saw:

I don't know if this neighbour is Norwegian or not, but at least it was nice to see a tiny little sign of Norway, hehe:) (think I'm allowed to be a bit patriotic on a day like that, eh? ;)

Oh yeah, and Norway won the Eurovision competition- yay! Alexander is called the 'Norwegain Harry Potter' down here, haha... and I think I have to agree, he do actually look a bit like him :)

I was sitting here in my room, thinking of what actually to write, n then I started singing on a song called 'Everyday' by Hillsongs... I really like the lyrics actually! So, here's the link to youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkEQGYApkVU
and below you'll find the lyrics.... ENJOY!:
)

What to say, Lord? It's
You who gave me life and I
Can't explain just how
Much You mean to me now
That You have saved me, Lord
I give all that I am to You
That everyday I could
Be a light that shines Your name

Everyday, Lord, I'll
Learn to stand upon Your word
And I pray that I
I might come to know You more
That You would guide me in every single step I take, that
Everyday I can
Be Your light unto the world

Everyday, it's You I live for
Everyday, I'll follow after You
Everyday, I'll walk with You, my Lord

Everyday, Lord, I'll
Learn to stand upon Your word
And I pray that I
I might come to know You more
That You would guide me in every single step I take, that
Everyday I can
Be Your light unto the world

Everyday, it's You I live for
Everyday, I'll follow after You
Everyday, I'll walk with You, my Lord

It's You I live for, everyday
It's You I live for, everyday
It's You I live for, everyday
It's You I live for, everyday

Everyday, it's You I live for
Everyday, I'll follow after You
Everyday, I'll walk with You, my Lord

Everyday, it's You I live for
Everyday, I'll follow after You
Everyday, I'll walk with You, my Lord

Germany and Koninginnedag/nacht

This last week, has been NICE!:) Saturday a week ago, I joined Anna to her hometown Crailsheim in the south of Germany.

We visited a town called Heidelberg. It has this really old, cosy town with a big castle.

But the real reason for visiting Heidelberg was to go to the "body worlds" exhibition. It's actually real bodies, which they've "opened" in order for people to see actually how amazing the human body is.. The exhibition is really controversial and quite confronting! It was not allowed to take pictures, but google "Bodyworlds", then you can see some pictures..
It was a great opportunity for me to repeat my anatomy though:)

one more "dressed" than the other....

Anna and I in Stuttgart :)

And of course we had to visit the German "Beer tent festival".... Can't get more German than that I guess... It's a huge amusement park, and then with a couple of "beer tents" where people are dancing like crazy on the tables to live music-Funny!

Wednesday evening we were back in Groningen again, ready for the "Koninginnenacht" (Queensnight). It's abig pary in town, with bands and lots of people!
The next day it was the Koninginnedag (Queensday) which is also celebrated really big. The day started really nice, the Dutch flag raised to the top of the pole, beautiful weather and happy people, but because of the tragedy in Apeldoorn; http://www.vgtv.no/?id=22245
the armosphere in town changed abit, the flags around town where lowered to only half way up, and the activities stopped earlier than planned...
Crazy what one man can do!!
____________
I've started on the last 10 weeks of school now, these weeks we'll repeat everything we've studied since we started the study- will be quite heavy, but afterwards it's SUMMER! :D
Enjoy the spring :D
